NUST SMME presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity to industrial automation professionals, process control engineers, associate engineers, and students of all engineering programs to come to grips with PLCs and HMIs through practical experience that is being offered in this 30-hour workshop.
PLCs are digital computers used in automation. The difference lies in the fact that they are automized for the industrial environment. Thus they are rugged and are able to withstand heat, shocks, humidity, and noise. It is this revolutionary technology that drives the industry of today, most notably the automotive sector. In this workshop, the participants will learn about the hardware and programming of PLCs through lectures as well thorough practical exposure and assignments.
