Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women around the world. Unfortunately, Pakistan has the highest incidence of breast cancer in Asia. Studies have shown that early detection of breast cancer can result in a survival rate of over 90%.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of awareness of breast cancer in Pakistan, this treatable disease is usually detected at advanced stages when nothing can turn the course of the disease.
TABA Youth Chapter NUST on collaboration with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) brings you Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar.
Ms Maya Ali, one of the well-known faces of Pakistan Film industry will be gracing this occasion with her presence and will be motivating us.
The event will include short awareness session on early detection and symptoms of breast cancer by the talented medical staff of SKMCH&RC followed a question and answer session.
